$1.4 Million for Galileo Colt

Galileo conformation

One of the top sellers during the third session of the Keeneland September Yearling Sale was a sensational Galileo colt that fetched $1.4 million to the bid of MV Magnier.

Consigned for sale by Woods Edge Farm, the colt was bred by SF Bloodstock and is a half-brother to multiple Grade I winner abd promising young sire Mastercraftsman and Grade III winner Genuine Devotion being from the top producer Starlight Dreams.

“For us, the horse was a standout as a physical,” said MV Magnier.

“The added attraction is that he is by Galileo, and as a bonus, he is a half to Mastercraftsman, a young stallion by Danehill Dancer who has a group winner and four stakes horses among his 16 winners with his first runners this year.”
