Champion sire Giant’s Causeway was in the limelight at the 2014 Ocala Breeders March Sale of Selected 2-Year-Olds when his stunning colt from Rebridled Dreams sold for $1.6 million.

Consigned by Northwest Stud, the star colt was bought by Stonestreet Stables and was the equal most expensive youngster to be sold at this sale.

A highly successful pinhook, having been bough as a yearling for $550,000, the colt is a half-brother to Grade I winner J B’s Thunder and stakes-winner Doncaster Rover being from stakes-winner Rebridled Dreams.

“We liked the way he worked, the way he moved, the way he looked and his breeding,” said Barbara Banke of Stonestreet Stables, who bid from the OBS offices alongside bloodstock advisor John Moynihan.

No trainer has been decided for the colt.
