$100,000 for Cape Blanco Colt

The NZB National Weanling Sale was held at Karaka on Monday with a dashing chestnut colt from the first crop of Cape Blanco fetching $100,000.

The second highest priced offering of the sale, he was consigned for sale by Curraghmore Stud and bought by Bruce Perry Bloodstock.

The eye-catching colt is the second foal of stakes-winning Stravinsky mare Tip the Wink.

A five-time Grade I winning son of Galileo, Cape Blanco shuttles to Cambridge Stud in New Zealand.
