$220,000 for Scat Daddy Colt

Leading freshman sire Scat Daddy had his first yearlings sell at the Keeneland September Yearling Sale during the third session with a colt from Russian Broad fetching $220,000.

Consigned by Hidden Brook as agent for Spruce Lane Farm, the colt was secured by K. K. Eishindo and is from a half-sister by Broad Brush to Group I winner and successful sire Indian Charlie.

The only other Scat Daddy to be offered on Tuesday was a filly from Star in the Corner that made $87,000 when purchased by Nick de Meric from the draft of Penn Sales.
