Banimpire leads home 1-2-3 for Coolmore at Cork

Banimpire (3 f Holy Roman Emperor - My Renee) further enhanced Holy Roman Emperor’s versatility as a sire with a comfortable victory on her first try at a mile and a half in the G3 Kerry Group Noblesse Stakes at Cork.

Jim Bolger’s filly had already posted a pair of G3 wins over 10 furlongs in Ireland this season and is set to be kept busy with a quick reappearance at Royal Ascot on Thursday.

"We were delighted with that. She did it really well," said Trainer Jim Bolger’s representative Ger Flynn to the Irish Times aftewards.

"She got the mile and four furlongs with no problem and Kevin (Manning) said she hardly had a race.

"The Ribblesdale Stakes at Royal Ascot on Thursday is still very much on the agenda."

Galileo’s purple patch continued as he was responsible for both the runner-up Sense Of Purpose (3 f Galileo - Super Gift) and the third home Amazing Beauty (3 f Galileo - Doula).
