Camelot on top at Goffs February Sale

A first-crop daughter of superstar Camelot stole the show on the first day of Goffs’ February Sale on Wednesday. Hamish Alexander signed at €80,000 for the filly, out of the Platini mare Stravina, and consigned from Eimear Mulhern’s Abbeville & Meadow Court Studs. She’s a real beauty, a lovely filly. I’ve bought her for a syndicate,” said Alexander. “And the plan would be for her to come back here for the Orby Sale in the autumn.” Camelot’s first crop made a big impact at the 2015 foal sales with prices of €180,000, 170,000gns, 160,000gns, 150,000gns, 120,000gns etc. Camelot is standing for €25,000 in 2016.
