The three-year-old took the 10-furlong contest under Harry Bentley and Harry Charlton, assistant to his father, feels there could be better to come from the winner.
“I was impressed with how he travelled for one of ours first time out. The other horse that has come up on the outside has helped him get over the line,” said Charlton junior. “We were unsure of the trip as he is by Canford Cliffs and he has speed on the dam’s side, but Harry (Bentley) said that was the right trip. I thought we would be in the first three, but I didn’t think we would win.”
