Air Navigator

Debut winner Air Navigator another smart one for Yeats

Air Navigator (6g Yeats-Lox Lane, by Presenting) overcame 14 rivals with ease on his debut at Exeter on Sunday to impressively win a bumper.

Home-bred by joint-owner Lady Cobham, the Tom George-trained Yeats gelding looked a bright prospect as he scored by a length and a half under Adrian Heskin.

The Racing Post commented that “this can work out to be a fair bumper… AIR NAVIGATOR ran out a ready debut winner. He caught the eye travelling easily until taking it up, when he probably idled due to greenness, and connections have a useful prospect on their hands. He´s bred to stay further over jumps.”
