Duntle lands G3 for Danehill Dancer

The David Wachman-trained Duntle (3f Danehill Dancer-Lady Angola, by Look At War) proved much too good for opponents when winning the G3 Desmond Stakes at Leopardstown on Thursday.

The progressive Airlie Stud-bred Danehill Dancer filly, winner of the Listed Sandringham Handicap at Royal Ascot on her previous run, made it three wins from five starts when scoring on unsuitably soft ground under Wayne Lordan.

“She travelled well. Although the ground is not ideal early on it’s a bit better from the two furlong marker to the line. She’s done it ok, but will prefer better ground. Her heart is in the right place,” Lordan told www.irishracing.com
