The outstanding Italian performer Dylan Mouth (4c Dylan Thomas-Cottonmouth, by Noverre) made it 10 wins out of 10 starts in his home country when winning the G2 Premio Federico Tesio on Sunday in little more than a canter.
The Dylan Thomas colt was eight lengths clear in the final furlong before being eased down to win by five lengths for trainer Stefano Botti.
The winning trainer’s father Alduino commented to EBN: “Dylan Mouth did his job as expected. He is a much better horse than he showed in both his starts abroad. We really have no explanations for his disappointing races at Ascot. He did not like the course, or travelling takes too much from him.”
