€420,000 Galileo filly is record-breaker

A daughter of Galileo smashed the record price at Arqana’s breeze-up in Paris on Saturday when selling for 420,000 euros to Narvick International.

Willie Brown’s Mocklershill consigned the filly, out of the Danehill mare Clarissa, and she is set to go into training in France, having been bought for Saudi Arabian owner Sultan Al Kabeer.

“We loved everything about her. She has a fantastic pedigree, physique and breezed really well,” Emmanuel de Seroux told www.racingpost.com.
