Promising filly Misty Waters (2f Choisir x Friendly Seas, by Mister C) looks likely to add her name to the long tally of stakes-winners bred by Fred Peisah’s Lomar Park Stud following a brilliant win at Sandown on Wednesday.
An easy winner on debut at Moonee Valley last month for the Mike Moroney stable, she repeated the performance again today over 900 metres, leading throughout for Jake Noonan and dashing away to win by a dominant four lengths.
Fast and professional like her sire Choisir, Misty Waters was bred and retained to race by Lomar Park and is a sister to brilliant stakes-winning Perth sprinter Kid Choisir.
She is one of five winners from Friendly Seas, who is a grand-daughter of top producer Sea Holly, the dam of dual Group I winner Razor Sharp, Group II winner Steel Blade and stakes-winner Sail to Glory.
This is the Social Smile (GB) family that has been nurtured over generations by Fred Peisah to produce an impressive dynasty of stakes-winners with other leading lights including Robian Steel, Super Elegant and Regal Cheer.
