Fastnet’s daughter Sea Siren stars in Ireland

Three-time G1 winner Sea Siren (5m Fastnet Rock-Express A Smile, by Success Express) was successful on her Irish debut when scoring at Fairyhouse on Sunday. The Australian-bred Fastnet Rock mare recently joined Aidan O’Brien’s Ballydoyle stable and took the Listed Belgrave Stakes with the minimum of fuss on her debut for her new trainer. “She is an exciting filly by an exciting stallion,” said Joseph O’Brien, after partnering Sea Siren to success. “She has loads of pace and a great attitude. She got a little bit idle in front so I gave her a smack and away she went. We’ve only had her since Royal Ascot and she is very exciting for the big five and six furlong sprints this season.”
