Ashford Stud’s Stay Thirsty (Bernardini) sired his first foal on Wednesday when Opulence had a smashing colt at Creekview Farm.
“Also a first foal for the mare, he’s all quality, has good size and strength and is very correct. He’s from one of the best families in the stud book. It’s the best possible start for Stay Thirsty,” said Ashford Stud manager Dermot Ryan.
Owned by Michael Tabor and Derrick Smith, Opulence, a daughter of Giant’s Causeway and the great Rags To Riches is now likely to be bred back to Stay Thirsty.
