G1 St James’s Palace Stakes winner Most Improved sired his first foal on Monday morning at Castlehyde Stud. The bay colt is owned by Mr. Emir Alkas and is the first foal out of Hurrem Sultan, a daughter of the Stakes winner Ribella from the family of multiple Group winner Almushtarak.

Castlehyde Stud manager Joe Hernon stated “He’s a very good foal, especially for a first foal. He is a foal of substance, it’s a very encouraging start to Most Improved’s stud career.”

Trained by Brian Meehan Most Improved (Lawman) was placed in the G1 Dewhurst Stakes as a 2yo before his top level win at Royal Ascot and is a half-brother to G1 winning 2yo Ectot. Most Improved stands at Castlehyde Stud at a fee of €5,000.
