French Stakes-Winner for Grand Slam

Leading US sire Grand Slam produced a stakes-winner in France with Dear Lavinia (2f Grand Slam x Baroness Richter, by Montjeu) scoring an easy victory in the Listed Grand Criterium de Bordeaux.

A homebred for Joseph Allen prepared by Jean-Claude Rouget, Dear Lavinia made it three wins from five starts when she powered clear to win the one mile contest by a length and a half.

Dear Lavinia is the first stakes-winner for stakes-winning Montjeu mare Baroness Richter and is the 64th stakes-winner for Grand Slam.
