French Stakes-Winner for Grand Slam

Grand Slam’s recent winning run has extended to Europe where he produced a new stakes-winner when Tribune (3f Grand Slam x Tanguista, by War Chant) took out the Listed Prix Ronde de Nuit at Deauville.

A homebred for Ecurie des Monceaux, the Jean-Claude Rouget trained Tribune improved on her last start fifth in Listed company, finding the line strongly to win this six and a half furlong contest on the all weather track by a length and a half.

A model of consistency, Tribune has the overall record of three wins and two placings from five starts.

The 69th stakes-winner for Grand Slam, Tribune is the first stakes-winner for her dam Tanguista, who comes from the family of stakes-winners Shrewd Idea and Alva Glen.
