G2 next for multiple-winning Mahler mare

A comfortable success for Ms Parfois (6m Mahler-Dolly Lewis, by Sir Harry Lewis) at Warwick on Thursday has earned the daughter of Mahler a step up in class to graded company. Already an Irish point-to-point and bumper winner, the six-year-old broke her duck over hurdles with the minimum of fuss and she is set to head to Sandown next month. Trainer Anthony Honeyball commented: “She won nicely. She will go for the Grade 2 mares’ novice hurdle at Sandown on February 17, but she looks a chaser through and through.”

Bred in Ireland by William and Daryl Deacon, Ms Parfois was bought by Honeyball for £50,000 at a Cheltenham Sale in February last year.
