Progressive mare Quiet Giant (4m Giant’s Causeway x Quiet Dance, by Quiet American) has been taking giant strides this year and landed her biggest win to date when capturing the Grade II Hill ‘n’ Dale Molly Pitcher Stakes at Monmouth on the weekend.
The Todd Pletcher trained mare was a dominant winner of the Lady’s Secret Stakes at her previous start and carried that good form into this tougher assignment.
She sat off the leader and then took over in the stretch, storming clear to win the 1 and 1/16th mile contest by five lengths.
Quiet Giant is putting together an impressive record with seven wins and two seconds from 12 starts and prizemoney of $405,389.
