Pride of Dubai sired his first European-bred foal when Redenca (Lope de Vega) produced a brown filly at Gestut Fahrhof on January 16th. “She is a good first foal and is developing well,” manager Stefan Ullrich reported yesterday. “She’s an attractive filly, correct with good movement. We are very happy with her.”
Redenca is a Listed-placed half-sister to Group winner Rosa Del Dubai, herself dam of three blacktype winners from her first five foals including Italian Oaks winner Folega.
Pride of Dubai, a dual Group 1 winning juvenile by Street Cry, is out of a half-sister to the dam of leading sires Invincible Spirit and Kodiac. He stands at Coolmore at a fee of €15,000.
