Msayyan Camelot Winning At Nottingham

Gosden 2yo scores for Camelot

Al Shaqab Racing’s Msayyan (2c Camelot-Elusive Girl, by Elusive City) added to the list of exciting Camelot winners when scoring at Nottingham on Wednesday.

The John Gosden-trained colt looked an unlucky loser on his debut at Kempton a fortnight earlier but had no problems this time when forging a length clear of the field under Frankie Dettori.

The Racing Post analysis stated: “MSAYYAN, unlucky not to make a winning debut at Kempton, got to the front from his wide draw and soon steadied things down. He briefly looked vulnerable to the challenge of the third, but found plenty and was always doing enough late.”

Bred in Ireland by Corrin Stud and Sean O’Keeffe, Msayyan made 150,000gns as a foal and 200,000gns as a yearling.
