Grade II Victory for Fed Biz

Giant's Causeway conformation

Blue-blooded entire Fed Biz (4h Giant’s Causeway x Spunoutacontrol, by Wild Again) emerged successful in his first appearance for  2013, scoring a tenacious victory in the Grade II San Fernando Stakes at Santa Anita on the weekend.

Prepared by Bob Baffert, Fed Biz was always up in  contention and produced plenty of fight under pressure to win the 1 and 1/16th mile contest by a head, his overall record now four wins from eight starts with prizemoney in excess of $270,000.

A $950,000 Keeneland September Yearling purchase, Fed Biz runs for Kaleem Shah and is a half-brother to stakes-winner Spun Silk from the stakes-winner Spunoutacontrol, who is a half-sister to Grade I winner Minardi, Grade II winner and leading sire Tale of the Cat as well as the dam of champion 2YO and successful sire Johannesburg.
