More Grade One Success for Scat Daddy

Just a week after Scat Daddy set the track alight at Royal Ascot where his star offspring Caravaggio and Lady Aurelia tasted Grade I success, he was back in the Grade I groove in South America where his unbeaten daughter Ruby Love (2f Scat Daddy x Rogue, by First Samurai) captured the Clasico Arturo Lyon Pena at Santiago in Chile. A homebred for Haras Matriarca prepared by Patricio Baeza, Ruby Love scored a neck win in the 1600 metre turf feature. Ruby Love has had three starts for three wins and looks to be another superstar on the South American scene for her ill-fated sire.

Ruby Love is the 21st Grade I winner for Scat Daddy, who will have his last crop of yearlings selling at North American sales in coming months.

His Grade I winning son No Nay Never is set to pick up where Scat Daddy left off and is due to shuttle to Australia for the coming Southern Hemisphere season.
