Grade Three for Dancing Solo

Giant's Causeway conformation

Talented filly Dancing Solo (3f Giant’s Causeway x Dancing Alone, Kingmambo) posted her second Black Type win when scoring a dominant victory in the Grade III Boiling Springs Stakes at Monmouth on the weekend.

The Todd Pletcher trained filly relished the task, cruising smoothly in second place for Joe Bravo before accelerating to win the 1 and 1/16th mile event by a length and a half.

“The plan was to be a little closer to the pace today since there wasn’t much speed in the
race,” Bravo said.

“She settled exactly where I wanted to be and in the stretch she was very powerful. She’s pretty impressive.”

A $100,000 purchase from the Keeneland September Yearling Sale, Dancing Solo runs for Twin Creeks Racing Stable and has won three races and placed four times from 10 starts earning $163,105 in prizemoney.

She is the first stakes-winner for Dancing Alone, an unraced sister to dual Grade I winner Voodoo Dancer.
