High Chaparral brother looks bright prospect

Father Of Science (3c Galileo-Kasora, by Darshaan), a Galileo three-parts brother to High Chaparral, looks set to enhance the family’s outstanding pedigree further this season after an impressive win at Chester on Wednesday.

The three-year-old, having only his second start, battled through testing ground to win an extended 10-furlong maiden comfortably under trainer Aidan O’Brien’s son Joseph.
“He was very green the first time and he still looked that way, but he kept going and handled the ground,” Aidan O’Brien told the Irish Times.
Father Of Science received a quote of 25/1 to emulate both his sire and brother in this year’s Derby.

“He has a lovely mind and he could step up into one of the trials yet,” added O’Brien. “I think he handled that ground but it’s not ideal for him, he’d prefer it better. I hope he keeps progressing.”
