High Chaparral Pair of Colts Sell for $410,000

Demand for the progeny of High Chaparral continued during the second session of the 2013 Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale with two outstanding colts by the sire selling for $410,000 apiece.

Foaled in New Zealand and offered by Blandford Lodge, the colt from Fastnet Rock mare Nobentleyforme was purchased by Paul Messara/ Blue Sky Bloodstock for $410,000 and is from a half-sister to triple Group I winner Bentley Biscuit.

Selling for the same money was a colt from stakes-winner Pentacity (NZ) that is bred on the same cross as multiple Group I winner Shoot Out and was offered by Turangga Farm and purchased by De Burgh Equine/ Bester Bloodstock.

Not far behind them was a filly from Fastnet Rock’s full sister Sarasota that made $400,000 for Coolmore when secured BBA Ireland.
