Holy Roman Emperor filly Parvaneh on Classic trail after G3 win

Parvaneh (3f Holy Roman Emperor-College Fund Girl, by Kahyasi) brought more Group success for Holy Roman Emperor on Sunday when winning the G3 Karin Baronin von Ullmann-Schwarzgold-Rennen in Cologne.

The mile contest is often a leading Classic trial and Parvaneh, trained by Waldemar Hickst, showed good speed as she got up in the closing stages to claim victory.

Bred in Ireland by Douglas Taylor, Parvaneh realised 175,000 euros at the 2015 Arqana Breeze-Up Sale and is a full-sister to G3 UAE 2,000 Guineas winner Mehdi.

Holy Roman Emperor is enjoying a great start to the 2016 season with 5 Group winners already on the board including Gr.1 winners Designs On Rome, Rich Tapestry and Beauty Only. With 2015 yearlings selling for up to €360,000 hitting the tracks, the 2-time Champion 2YO sire is sure to have another good year.
