Impressive Newmarket winner for Dylan Thomas

Champion Dylan Thomas was on the scoresheet again at Newmarket on Friday when the Clive Cox-trained Devdas (2c Dylan Thomas-Drifting, by Sadler’s Wells) ran out an impressive winner.

Sheikh Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan’s home-bred scored by an impressive length and a quarter in the mile contest and very much looked a two-year-old on the upgrade.

Cox told “He´s from a very nice family, the same family as New Approach, and he´s loved the step up in trip and has shown a good turn of foot which I´m pleased with. He had no problem with the ground today. He may get further next year and we´ll take it as it comes for now.”
