Italian Listed winner for High Chaparral

Gutsy five-year-old Branderburgo (5h High Chaparral-Farhad, by Red Ransom) bagged another black-type success for High Chaparral in Milan on Sunday.

The Tenuta Dorna di Montaltuzzo home-bred, a Listed winner last year, ran out a comprehensive length and a half victor of the nine-furlong Listed Premio del Giubileo under jockey Mario Esposito.

It could mark the start of a big few days for High Chaparral, whose 10-time G1-winning son So You Think (6h High Chaparral-Triassic, by Tights) is favourite for the G1 Coral-Eclipse at Sandown on Saturday.
