Wild Wind (3f Danehill Dancer-Woman Secret, by Sadler’s Wells) gained more black-type for Danehill Dancer when proving much too good for her rivals in the Listed Vincent O’Brien Ruby Stakes at Killarney on Tuesday night.
The Aidan O’Brien-trained filly finished third in the G1 French 1,000 Guineas in May and despite facing some good opposition at Killarney, she was always travelling well and went on to score by a length and three-quarters under Colm O’Donoghue.
“The pace was strong throughout and she quickened up and did it well. Going to the start she was the best I have felt her all year,” O’Donoghue told www.irishracing.com
Wild Wind, a 260,000 euros graduate of the Arqana August Yearling Sale at Deauville, was bred by Ecurie des Monceaux.
