Majestic Warrior Yearlings Impress
(16th July 2011)
The first yearlings by Grade I Hopeful Stakes winner Majestic Warrior proved popular at the 2011 Fasig-Tipton July Select Sale selling for up to $137,000.
Top seller for Majestic Warrior was a stylish chestnut colt from Counter Cat that made $137,000 for Elm Tree Farm when secured by Reunion Bloodstock.
A half-brother to stakes-placed Under Counter and three other winners, the colt comes from the family of Grade II winner Pine Tree Lane.
Other good results were achieved by a colt from Darling Monique that made $110,000 for Paramount Sales when knocked down to David Scanlon, while a colt from Thundercup made $100,000 for Vanmeter Sales when secured by Silverton Hill LLC.
A son of champion sire A.P. Indy, Majestic Warrior stands at a fee of $10,000.
