Ponte Fortune (Soldier Of Fortune) winning the Prix Marise Hurdle at Enghein

Soldier Of Fortune had an impressive winner at Enghein on Tuesday when the familiar colours of Simon Munir and Isaac Souede were carried to victory by Ponte Fortune (4f Soldier Of Fortune-Panzella, by Kahyasi).

The four-year-old, a smart Flat performer when trained by Jonathan Pease, coasted to a nine-length success (pictured) for her new handler Francois Nicolle.

The red-hot sire was again on the mark on Wednesday with a 4yo double over hurdles for Rob Collet at Fontainebleau when Lucky Island (4g Soldier Of Fortune-Isle, by Cadoudal) scored by 15 lengths and Popstar Du Berlais (4f Soldier Of Fortune-Populonia, by Polish Precedent) won the $18,000 Prix de Bouligny.

Soldier Of Fortune is standing for €5,000 in 2016.
