Koshari (Walk In The Park) winning a novices hurdle at Punchestown

Mullins unleashes another Walk In The Park chasing star

Willie Mullins knows more than most about the prowess of Walk In The Park’s progeny, as handler of the likes of Douvan and Min, and Koshari (5g Walk In The Park-Honor May, by Balleroy) looks another set to make his mark at a high level for the champion trainer.

Koshari, a Flat winner in France, won a novices’ hurdle at last year’s Punchestown Festival (pictured) and made a sparkling debut over fences at Thurles on Sunday.

Danny Mullins was in the saddle and was always at the front of the field in the 2m 2f contest and was eased down to win by 15 lengths. "That was a good performance and he is open to improvement,” said the winning rider. “It was a good starting point following a long layoff and hopefully he can improve."
