Music kicks off Ascot week on right note for Danehill Dancer

The Queen’s Set To Music (4f Danehill Dancer-Zarabaya, by Doyoun) provided a royal winner at the start of Britain’s biggest raceweek when winning the Listed Voute Sales Warwickshire Oaks on Monday night.

The Michael Bell-trained Danehill Dancer filly, who was bred by the Aga Khan, ran away with the Warwick contest by three and three-quarter lengths on the eve of Royal Ascot.

Bell assistant’s George Scott told www.racingpost.com: “We have purposefully taken our time with her.. She ideally needs a bit of cut in the ground as she travels so well on it and Jamie (Spencer) has come back and said that she gave him a really good feel. The Queen’s racing manager John Warren will sit down in the next few days and discuss where we go with her.”
