New Grade One Winner for Thunder Gulch

Thunder Gulch posted a new Grade I winner when classy colt Thunder One (3c Thunder Gulch x Palmtin, by Cautin) captured the Grade I Gran Premio Joaquin S De Anchorena at Hipodromo de San Isidro in Argentina.

Trained by Ernesto Romero, the colt took the 1600 metre turf event by half a length, taking his overall record to three wins from five starts.

Thunder One is a half-brother to Grade I placed Puchet and is one of five winners from Grade III winner Palmtin.

He is the 75th stakes-winner for his Kentucky Derby winning sire Thunder Gulch.
