New Stakes-Winner for Giant’s Causeway

Giant Run (Giant's Causeway) winning the Cutler Bay Stakes at Gulfstream

Improving colt Giant Run (3c Giant’s Causeway x Who Did it and Run, by Polish Numbers) has appreciated a switch to turf and landed his first Black Type success when taking out the $75,000 Cutler Bay Stakes at Gulfstream on the weekend.

A last start second in the Grade III Palm Beach Stakes, Giant Run confirmed the potential of that performance to take this one mile contest on turf by a length and a quarter.

Prepared by Thomas Albertrani, Giant Run has the overall record of two wins and two seconds from seven starts with prizemoney topping $117,000.

A half-brother to stakes-winner American Victory from Grade II winner Who Did it and Run, Giant Run was a $200,000 Keeneland September Yearling purchase.

Giant Run is the 161st stakes-winner for champion sire Giant’s Causeway.
