New Winner for Scat Daddy

Scat Daddy posted a new winner when Lady of Shamrock (2f Scat Daddy x Blushing Issue, by Blushing John) scored at Churchill Downs on the weekend.

Owned and trained by Ronny Werner, Lady of Shamrock improved sharply at her third start, finishing off strongly from back in the field to win the 1 and 1/16th mile juvenile maiden by a head with some 11 lengths back to the third horse.

A half-sister to Grade II winner Smooth Jazz and stakes-winner She’s Sensational, Lady of Shamrock is the fifth winner for Blushing Issue, a half-sister to Grade I Hollywood Gold Cup winner Royal Chariot.

A dual Grade I winning son of Champion Two Year Old Johannesburg, Scat Daddy is poised to be Champion US First Season Sire for 2011 with 24 winners to his credit including Graded stakes-winners Daddy Long Legs, Finale and Shared Property.
