Chris' Dream (Mahler)

Point-to-point treble for fabulous Mahler

Unstoppable Mahler pulled off a three-timer in four-year-old point-to-points on Sunday with a trio of exciting prospects. At Boulta, Eugene O’Sullivan sent out Chris's Dream (4g Mahler-Janebailey, by Silver Patriarch) to win the geldings’ maiden by five and a half lengths (pictured), with another 15 lengths back to the third. Bred by Mary O’Connor, the son of Mahler had run in a bumper at the Punchestown Festival on his only previous outing. Also at Boulta, Martin Cullinane’s sent out Lostin A Fog (4m Mahler-Spirit Rock, by Rock Hopper) to lead home a 1-2 for Mahler from Deise Gold (4m Mahler-Blackwater Babe, by Arctic Lord) in the four-year-old mares’ maiden. The winner is set to head to a bumper.

Meanwhile at Borris House, Ken Budds sent out the mare Dahills Hill (4m Mahler-Whites Cross, by Lord Americo) to take an 11-runner maiden.
