Progressive Toungi claims black-type for Rock

Three-year-old Toungi (3f Rock Of Gibraltar-Tounsi, by Sendawar) continued her upward form progression on Saturday when winning the Listed Prix La Sorrellina at La Teste De Buch.

Jean-Claude Seroul’s home-bred filly was winning her third start of 2015 for trainer Frederic Rossi and looks set to keep improving.

The TDN commented: “Held up towards the back early racing wide without cover, the chestnut made a forward move at the end of the back straight and seized the advantage with 300 metres remaining en route to a convincing first black-type score.”
