Sandown black-type for Flemensfirth mare

Irish raider Gaillimh A Chroi (5m Flemensfirth-Burnt Out, by Anshan) made a successful foray from John Queally’s stable to land the Listed TBA/EBF Stallions mares’ bumper at Sandown Park on Saturday. The Flemensfirth mare, who was bred by Sean Galway, had won a Gowran Park bumper on her previous outing and she could eventually go chasing. “She won well at Gowran Park last time and needs soft ground, so we chanced coming here in the hope that she'd get placed and some black type,” Queally told PA Sport. "She would have won a point-to-point but we found she was in season afterwards and she's had a hard race here, so we might put her away. She'll jump a fence."
