Second Win for Secret

Dynamic Syndications were in the winner’s circle at Warwick Farm again on Saturday after promising filly Secret Delight (2f Encosta de Lago x Divine Secret, by Thunder Gulch) scored her second win from just three starts.

Secret Delight was ridden forward by Blake Spriggs to sit just off the pace and found the line strongly to post a tenacious short half lead win in the 1000 metre dash.

Unplaced on debut in the $140,000 juvenile fillies event at Scone last month won by Diamond Earth, the David Payne trained filly has bounced back with two quick wins and has now won $89,550 in prizemoney.

Secret Delight was a $120,000 purchase from the Coolmore draft at the 2011 Magic Millions Yearling Sale and is the second winner from Group I placed Thunder Gulch mare Divine Secret, who comes from the family of Group winners Excited Angel, Typhoon and Aquiver.

The current yearling from Divine Secret, a full brother to Secret Delight, fetched $180,000 at the NZB Premier Yearling Sale earlier this year when bought by Roger James.

The mare has no weanling, but is due to foal to Duke of Marmalade this spring.
