Shanghai Bobby Colt Tops Saratoga Fall Sale

Shanghai Bobby - paddock

A weanling colt from the first crop of Champion Two Year Old Shanghai Bobby topped the 2015 Fasig-Tipton Saratoga Fall Sale when selling for $140,000 on Monday.

A half-brother to three stakes-placed performers from good producing stakes-winner Electric Shock, he was consigned by RH HF Bloodstock and was purchased by Adrian Regan and Fergus Galvin’s Hunter Valley Farm.

Expectation is high for the progeny of Shanghai Bobby, who was a brilliant unbeaten juvenile with a Breeders Cup Juvenile trophy in the cabinet, so has a very similar profile to the current leading US First Crop Sire Uncle Mo.
