Stakes Success for Dancing Solo

Giant's Causeway conformation

Improving filly Dancing Solo (3f Giant’s Causeway x Dancing Alone, Kingmambo) snared her first Black Type success when scoring a soft win in the $65,040 Little Silver Stakes at Monmouth.

The Todd Pletcher trained filly relished the grass surface, settling back to midfield and then charging home out wide to win the one mile assignment by a length and a half running away.

“It’s horses like this that make me love horse racing,” enthused winning rider jockey Joe Bravo.

“Turning for home, I had all the confidence in the world.”

A $100,000 purchase from the Keeneland September Yearling Sale, Dancing Solo runs for Twin Creeks Racing Stable and has won two races and placed four times from nine starts earning $103,105 in prizemoney.

She is the first stakes-winner for Dancing Alone, an unraced sister to dual Grade I winner Voodoo Dancer.

Dancing Solo is the 108th stakes-winner for champion sire Giant’s Causeway.
