Ruler Of The World comes from one of the world’s most sought-after female lines, his third dam being the celebrated Lassie Dear. Ruler Of The World’s profile has received a considerable boost from the recent exploits of his top-class half-brother Duke of Marmalade. This champion older horse has enjoyed tremendous international success, siring Gr.1 classic winners in Britain, France and Germany.

The fact that Ruler Of The World is a half-brother to a champion by DANEHILL makes mares from the DANZIG line the first line of attack – especially as his sire Galileo has such a brilliant record with this line. Galileo’s 27 Group winners out of DANEHILL mares feature the brilliant Frankel, Teofilo, Highland Reel, Intello, Golden Lilac and Roderic O’Connor. Galileo’s triple Gr.1 winner Lush Lashes is out of an ANABAA mare and Gr.1 winner Adelaide is another whose broodmare sire is a son of DANZIG.

Galileo sired the Derby-winning Australia from a mare by CAPE CROSS, who also sired Galileo’s outstanding half-brother Sea The Stars. Galileo’s record with GREEN DESERT mares is excellent, featuring the Epsom Oaks winner Was. Ruler Of The World should suit mares by INVINCIBLE SPIRIT and OASIS DREAM, especially as his half-brother Duke of Marmalade has a Gr.3 winner with a dam by INVINCIBLE SPIRIT.

Galileo is also achieving highly promising results with mares by sons of DANEHILL, with the top-class Minding, The Gurkha and Alice Springs leading his Gr.1 winners out of mares by DANEHILL DANCER. There are also Gr.1 winners out of mares by MOZART (Magician) and ROCK OF GIBRALTAR.

The CHIEF’S CROWN branch of the DANZIG male line could reinforce Ruler Of The World’s classic ability. Teofilo sired Voleuse de Coeurs and Trading Leather from mares by GRAND LODGE and his son SINNDAR.

Galileo’s very good results with the NUREYEV line include five Group winners out of PIVOTAL mares, led by the Gr.1 winners Rhododendron and The United States. Ruler Of The World’s half-brother Duke of Marmalade has the German Derby winner Nutan out of a PEINTRE CELEBRE mare, the multiple Gr.2 winner Big Orange out of a FASLIYEV mare and a Gr.3 winner out of a SOVIET STAR mare. Duke of Marmalade also sired the classic-winning Simple Verse from a SADLER’S WELLS mare.

Galileo is building a very impressive record with daughters of STORM CAT. Galileo now has eight Group winners and five of them – Churchill, Ballydoyle, Misty For Me, Marvellous and Gleneagles – are Gr.1 winners. Teofilo, another champion son of Galileo, sired the Gr.1 winner Loch Garman from a daughter of GIANT’S CAUSEWAY. As Marvellous and Gleneagles are out of a sister to GIANT’S CAUSEWAY, this is an option with plenty to offer.

The Dewhurst Stakes victory by Teofilo’s son Parish Hall opens the door to close inbreeding to SADLER’S WELLS, as he is out of a MONTJEU mare.

Ruler Of The World can be expected to shine with the MILL REEF line, which has produced three generations of Gr.1 winners to Galileo. Galileo has ten Group winners out of DARSHAAN mares and has also thrived with Darshaan’s son with MARK OF ESTEEM.

Galileo sired the Gr.1 winner Galikova from a BLUSHING GROOM mare, while RAINBOW QUEST sired the second dam of Frankel and Noble Mission, ARAZI sired the second dam of Lush Lashes and RAHY sired the second dams of Marvellous, Gleneagles and Deauville. Frankel and Teofilo have both sired Gr.2 winners from daughters of RAHY while a GROOM DANCER mare produced another Gr.2 winner to Teofilo.

Galileo’s classic winners New Approach and Was respectively have a dam and a second dam by the top sprinter AHONOORA. Galileo also has three Group winners, including a classic winner, from mares by INDIAN RIDGE. Ruler Of The World’s half-brother Duke of Marmalade had a Gr.3 winner with a dam by INDIAN RIDGE.

The SHARPEN UP line is another that should suit him as it has worked well with Galileo while Duke of Marmalade sired the Prix de Diane winner Star of Seville from a SELKIRK mare. Galileo has a striking record with mares by BERING and his son PENNEKAMP.

Galileo is shining with the ROBERTO line, notably siring Gr.1 winners from daughters of SILVER HAWK. Found heads his strong team out of INTIKHAB mares. He has also sired Group winners from daughters of DYNAFORMER, KRIS S. LEAR FAN, RED RANSOM, DR FONG and SRI PEKAN.
