TDN Rising Star for Fastnet Rock

Fresh from siring another juvenile Group I winner in the UK with Rivet winning the Group I Racing Post Trophy at Doncaster, Fastnet Rock also produced a TDN Rising Star in the US thanks to a debut victory at Keeneland for Tamit (2f Fastnet Rock x Roman Empress, by Sadler’s Wells). The Mark Casse trained filly charged home from back in the field producing a lethal turn of foot over the final furlong to dash clear and win the 1 and 1/16th mile turf maiden by three and three-quarter lengths.

Purchased for 200,000 euros at the Arqana August Yearling Sale, Tamit is the first winner from Group I placed Roman Empress, a sibling to Group I winner Imperial Monarch and Group III Mount Athos.
