Unbridled Mo Wins Keeneland Grade Three

Progressive mare Unbridled Mo (4m Uncle Mo x Unbridled Waters, by Unbridled) had a class edge over her rivals in the $100,000 Grade Three Doubledogdare Stakes at Keeneland on Friday. Already a three time stakes-winner, the Todd Pletcher trained mare turned in a tenacious effort to win the 1 and 1/16th mile contest by three parts of a length. “When [Unbridled Mo] got to the lead, she started waiting. When the other horse [runner-up Power of Snunner] got to her, she put in a nice fight,” said winning rider John Velazquez. “It was her, just waiting, looking at the crowd and everything. Thank God the other horse came to her and made her run again.” A homebred for the Red Oak Stable, Unbridled Mo has won six of eight starts earning $531,180.

Unbridled Mo is a half-sister to Grade Three winner Unbridled Essence from good producer Unbridled Waters.
