Uncle Mo Firing on Track and in Ring

Set to be crowned US Champion First Crop sire for 2015, Uncle Mo had a new winner on Wednesday as well as siring the top priced weanling during the third session of the 2015 Keeneland November Breeding Stock Sale. His colt from Gypsy Sage made $370,000 and will be headed back to the sale ring in the future as he was bought by pinhooker Gerry Dilger of Dromoland Farm. “He’s a really nice colt with good size and I liked him very much,” Dilger said. “And what can I say about the sire-he’s on fire.”

Uncle Mo posted his 20th winner when the Brad Cox trained Annabelle (2f Uncle Mo x Jackie Halo, by Southern Halo) scored at her second start at Churchill Downs by a neck.
