Waterloo Bridge battles hard for Zoffany

Waterloo Bridge (Zoffany) winning at Tipperary

In-form Zoffany had another success on Thursday when the Aidan O’Brien-trained Waterloo Bridge (2c Zoffany-Miss Childrey, by Dr Fong) scored at Tipperary.

The speedy colt showed great resilience to win the five-furlong maiden under trainer’s son Joseph O’Brien.

“Hopefully he can progress now and is by an exciting sire,” said the winning rider.

Zoffany is the leading first crop sire in Europe with 5 smart winners including Rochestown Stakes winner Argentero and Albany Stakes prospect Illuminate.
