Well-backed Rain God is another for Henry

Rain God (2c Henrythenavigator-Lotta Dancing, by Alydar) became the latest first-crop winner for Henrythenavigator when scoring at Dundalk on Friday night.

The Aidan O’Brien-trained colt was well-supported, from 9/2 into 11/4, and he showed great resilience when rewarding his backers with a three-quarters of a length success.

Henrythenavigator is moving from America to stand at Coolmore in Ireland for 2013 and he has enjoyed a fantastic first season with runners that have included G1 Phoenix Stakes winner Pedro The Great, G1 Prix Morny second George Vancouver, G2 Railway Stakes runner-up and G2 Coventry Stakes third Cristoforo Colombo and G3 Acomb Stakes third Afonso De Sousa.
