Wonderful G3 juvenile 1-2 for Galileo

The unstoppable Galileo was responsible for the first two home in Thursday’s G3 Silver Flash Stakes at Leopardstown courtesy of two stablemates at Aidan O’Brien’s Ballydoyle stable.

Wonderfully (2f Galileo-Massarra , by Danehill) came home a length in front of Perhaps (2f Galileo-Anna Karenina).

“Wonderfully’s been lazy at home, so the visor just helped to help her concentrate and keep her sharp,” O’Brien told TDN. “The runner-up ran a stormer and I’m delighted with her, as she’s still green, but is starting to get it together. The winner is a filly that’s going to improve with racing, so hopefully the plan is the G2 Debutante Stakes at the Curragh (August 11) and G1 Moyglare Stud Stakes at the Curragh (September 1)”.
